To assist in understanding and adapting to climate change, Bundaberg Regional Council is developing a Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategy (CHAS) for its 110km of coastline. The CHAS looks at hazards such as coastal erosion, storm tide inundation and sea level rise and their potential impacts on community, infrastructure and the environment. We are in the final stages of development so please feel free to register on this site and share your views during the public consultation phase which starts Monday 3rd August 2020 - 31st August 2020.
